Halloween 2008
This is really late, but here are some pictures from Halloween. We went to Grand-Falls for the weekend to spend time with the Michaud family. Louis-Pascal was a lion, Marie-Eve a witch, Isabelle a unicorn and Christine a dalmation. They were pretty cute walking down the street together!!
Merci pour la belle soirée famille Michaud!
Thanks for the fun night Michaud family!
ps - xox à la fille à marraine...

Gymnastiques / Gymnastics
I know I've been really slow with a new post for the blog; my appologies for that. Life is busy with a toddler... but I'm enjoying it a lot. I try to spend as much time with LP as I can, he's so much fun right now (I know I keep saying that, but really, now he's A LOT of fun!).
To keep LP entertained (as though he isn't busy enough!) I've been looking for things to do aside from swimming classes since he's not old enough for the next level yet... and we found gymnastics for toddlers! We're cheating a bit, he should be 18 months to start, but at 16 months (Yup - Growing up fast!!), who will notice with all these little busy tiny-people running around in this big playground.
So every Saturyday after lunch, we head to Kingswood Park for an hour of fun with balls of all sizes, trampolines, bars, climbing foams and mattresses of all sorts, swings, a foam pit and the list goes on. LP is in heaven here; And it's nice for parents, you get to meet other parents, and families. And JM, like most other dads there, are having just as much fun, if not more fun, than their kids. It's quite funny really. Especially with the foam pit, (pictures included below)... dads love the foam pit. JM has fun building towers with the foam blocks while LP knocks them down... then he gets carried away with it and notices that LP is IN the pit and needs to be fetched out while he was still building towers. Last week one dad got carried away and actually built a FORT with the foam blocks... And no, he didn't build it for his kids, they were actually in the pit having fun doing there own thing while dad was on his own, building his fort. Hilarious. Obviously its fun being a parent too.
So its a great time, and we're all exhausted when we leave. So here are some random pictures over the last 3 weeks of LP and his new gymnastics fun on Saturdays. The lighting is weird there, so most pictures did not come out so nicely, but it gives you an idea of what it's like. (We need to convince tante 'Manda to join us with her camera!!) Enjoy, and I promise I will be better with the updates in the future...
Chris

Surprise Pictures / Photos surprises
A family friend, Denise, took some pictures of LP while we were in the Dominican Republic in April. She has a degree in photography and is really good at adding creative designs to her pictures afterwards. She recently sent us the pictures she's been working on. Pretty neat stuff hun? What a nice surprise - can't wait to see the rest of them!!
MERCI DENISE!! THANK YOU DENISE!!

5 garçons! / 5 Boys!
Voici quelques photos.
The weekend of Max and Amanda's wedding (Yes, July 12th... so I am WAY behind in making this posting), Chris' cousins from Montréal came and stayed with us... which meant we had 5 boys under one roof for the weekend! It was fun. We had Marilyn and her boys: Jean-Christophe (the oldest... and this is bad, is he 3 or 4??) & Louis-Simon (3 weeks older than LP); and her brother Mario and his spouse Geneviève, with their twin boys: Zachary & Mathis (3 months older than LP). Those adorable boys kept us entertained all weekend, it was fun! We really appreciated having them get to know each other. Here are a few shots of them together.
The pool and the bubbles were a hit. LS and LP is the pool with JC in the background.

Mignon.
But the patio door was the biggest hit for some reason... with all the toys around, it was apparently much more fun to open and close the door, and climb in and out from the deck to the house... who would have thought! We still have evidence of little hand prints on the outside sidding. Cute.

And meal time was... well the babies ate first, then the adults tried to attempt something of a meal in between all the running around. We had a lot of finger foods that weekend!
Ce fut plaisant la gang Cormier!! Venez nous visiter n'importe quand!
It was fun Cormier bunch!!! Come back to visit us anytime!
