Dans les patates???

LP m'a corrigé hier, après m'avoir trompé sur quelques choses de mineur:

Chris: "Oops, merci Louis-Pascal, j'étais dans les patates, hein?"

LP: "Nooooooooon, t'étais dans les carottes!! Et moi, j'étais dans les navets. Et Papa lui, il est dans les haricots. Les haricots du jardin a Grandpa!"

Chris: "Ah ben oui!!!"

Promenade en traineau

Super belle journée à katoon aujourd'hui. Jean-Michel à apporté la gang en traineau dans le voisinage. Louis-Pascal avait hâte...

LP: "Papa, on va prendre le traineau et aller jusqu'à la mer!"
JM: "Ok... Chère, on va être de retour l'année prochaine."
Chris: ...
LP: "Prends un photo, Maman." (en mettant son bras autour de JS...)

Ah, mignons mes petits hommes.

Jan-Sébastien à 1 an

Nous avons célébré le premier anniversaire de naissance à Jan-Sébastien les 7 et 8 janvier derniers... Que le temps a passé vite cette dernière année. Nous avons célébré avec Mémére qui est venu du Nouveau-Brunswick pour une visite, quelques amis de la Saskatchewan et quelques membres de la famille sur Skype. Voici quelques photos de notre célébration. Bonne fête notre Jan-Sébastien d'amour...
Ca va mieux si on passe directement à la bouche sans passer par la cuillière...
Session Skype avec Grandpa d'un bord, et Parrain et Marraine de l'autre.
Même Tache a pu gouter au gâteau aux carottes que Maman fait pour les anniversaires.
Et une partie de hockey en bas avec les amis. Merci Vance! Quand tu viens, les enfants dorment toujours bien par après!!
Nouveau petit copain à Jan-Sébastien, Matt. Les deux n'ont que quelques semaines de différence.
Et à presque 11 mois, Jan-Sébastien a pris ses premiers pas, mais depuis son 1 an, il décolle vraiment! Il préfere maintenant marcher et se débrouille vraiment bien. Les marches sont devenu le nouveau terrain de jeux de préférence (qui énerve pas mal Papa et Maman) et il adore grimper. La semaine passée il a commencé à grimper sur les divans, le lave vaiselle... mais il dort mieux aussi! ;)

Saskatoon's WinterShines

We went to Saskatoon's WinterShines Festival today. After experiencing Ottawa and Fredericton's winter festival, I was a bit disappointed in this one... but the kids thought it rocked and it was above zero today!!! Beautiful day...
JS managed to get on TV with this pose... CTV News was covering the event and he was quite funny.
And off to the new Farmers' Market for a snack.
And on our way back home it was nap time...

"Et si on allait sur la lune, Maman?"

LP and I had a date this evening... to the Observatory on the University of Saskatchewan campus. LP has been talking about stars, planets, explosions in the sky and walking on the moon... so this was the perfect activity. I couldn't believe it was open to the public, free, every Saturday night. I was so excited I told LP at the beginning of the week, which was a mistake, as everyday was a battle to explain to him that we were not yet Saturday...

So here we are before leaving... goofing around.
Here is LP in the observatory, looking at the telescope. It's quite old, and antique actually, but it looks just like the one he has seen in books.
Looking at what he could potentially see through the telescope and getting excited. He was actually jumping up and down!
So LP was able to see Jupiter tonight, and that was a big deal. Although he still wanted to go in space after we left... we'll have to play pretend for that...

Leaving the Observatory... it was a fun night.

And I will be catching up with quite a few posts in the next few days... with life somewhat back to normal, I can spend time on the blog again. Much to share for those far away!! ;)
