Camping

Louis-Pascal est allé faire du camping à Mactaquac avec Ganpa et Ganma la fin de semaine passée. Il s'est vraiment amusé et Jean-Michel et Christiane en ont profité pour passer du temps de couple ensemble! ;)

Camping last weekend at Mactaquac with Ganpa and Ganma (Chris' parents... LP decided that's what he will be calling them... or he just can't roll the rrrr enough!). He had a great time... and JM and Chris had great couple time too! ;)

La vie est belle: on sort de la tente on pyjama, on mets notre polar, nos crocs et Ganma nous sert le petit déjeuner pour ensuite aller au lac avec Ganpa.
Life is good camping: roll out of the tent in your pjs, put on your fleece ands crocs and Ganma will make you breakfast then you can go spend some time by the pond...

Une petite randonée à bicyclette... Let's go for a bike ride...

Déjà temps de la sieste! Ouf - Time to crash!

Here is a picture of JM with LP upon their return from a small fishing trip. They got 5 little trout out of Killarney Lake... and LP's expressions are priceless - he is sooooo proud. Dad is too for that matter!! One of my favorite pictures of my boys.

Bébé deVink #2! / Baby deVink #2!

Et voilà... une photo de bébé deVink #2 a 11 semaines! On ne peut pas voir grand chose, mais bébé bougeait un peu et on pouvait même voir son coeur battre (à 162 la minute). Tout semble bien à date et Christiane est en pleine forme, donc Louis-Pascal aura une petite soeur ou un petit frère autour du 7 janvier!
Here it is... a picture of baby deVink #2 at 11 weeks! Can't see much, but he or she was moving a bit and we could see the heart beat (at 162 per minute). Everything looks good so far and Chris feels great, so we should expect a little brother or sister for LP around January 7th!

Nouveau lit et calçons / New Bed & Underwear

I don't have any pictures... our camera is toast (maybe I'll get a nice one for my birthday????!) but LP has made the switch from a crib to a big boy bed! He seems to like it, but he looks so tiny in a bigger bed! He's only 21 months, but I still feel like he's growing up too fast. And this week, we also started potty training!!! It's going not so well as the transition to a new bed, but we're having slow success. As of today, he has been a week without a diaper during the day... he usually has a daily accident but just this evening he impressed me quite a bit. We went out to see a kids concert "Splash and Boots" which he loved, and asked me twice to go to the bathroom!! OK... Well the first time, the "asking" was grabbing himself and immediatly stopping his dancing (yup, pretty funny) and the second one, after he now knew were the bathroom was, was him running through the crowd and me running after him (wondering why he's bolting out of the room) trying to get to the washroom. TOO funny. I know, it's only mommy-funny stuff... but it was still pretty cute.

So that's the update for now... have a nice wknd!
