Mon premier mots / My First Word

Devinez c'est quoi le permier petit mots à Louis-Pascal? Papa? Maman? NON! ...Tache!! Hé oui, Louis-Pascal peut dire "Tache" et "donne". "Donne" parcqu'on s'amuse à lancer des jouets avec Tache et elle les rapporte à Louis-Pascal pour le faire rire, en donnant la commande de "donne", elle échappe le jouets. C'est vraiment comique voir Louis-Pascal répéter "donne".
Guess what is LP's first word?? Papa? Maman? Nop... Tache!! Yup, LP can say "Tache" and "donne". If only Tache could understand this moment!! "Donne" is the word we use for her to drop the toy we just threw for her to fetch back to us to make LP laugh. Quite funny to see LP repeat "donne" after we say it.

Et on part pour la République Dominicaine vendredi pour une petite vacance!! Woo-oo! Nous serons de retour lundi de la semaine prochaine... des photos et mise-à-jour suivront à ce moment!
And we leave for the Dominican Republic Friday for a vacation!! Woo-oo! We'll be back Monday of next week, so pictures and an update at that time!

Ma première dent! / My First Tooth!

Jean-Michel a trouvé la première dent à Louis-Pascal ce matin! Elle commence juste à sortir de ses gencives en bas... finallement!
JM found LP's first tooth this morning!! It's just slightly coming through his bottom gums... finally!

Mes livres / My Books

Une fois de temps en temps, Louis-Pascal adore passer du temps devant sa "mini bibliothèque" dans sa chambre. Le voici quelques fois dans les dernières semaines en train de faire de la "recherche". Il est tellement absorbé dans cette activité que c'est difficile d'avoir son attention pour prendre des photos.
Once in a while, LP can spend a really long time having fun with his "mini library" in his room. Here he is a couple of times in the last few weeks, "researching". He gets so into it, it's difficult to get his attention to take pictures.

Le voici dans sa chaise vibrante, tirant un livre à la fois de l'étagère pour les observer...
Here he is in his vibrating chair, pulling books out one at a time from the shelf to look at them...

Et le voici hier, avec son petit dégat de livre autour de lui. Son livre préféré est encore "La lapine et ses lapereaux" par contre... et Papa et Maman peuvent le réciter par coeur maintenant!
And here he is yesterday, making his little mess of books all around him. His favorite book is still "La lapine et ses lapereaux" though... and Papa and Maman can recite it off by heart now!

Debout / Standing

Ça fait pas mal longtemps que Louis-Pascal se tient debout, mais dernièrement il commence a réaliser que le monde est pas mal plus intéressant de cette façon. Cela fait quelques semaines qu'il veut tout faire debout... voici quelques photos variées de ses nouveaux exploits.

Une fête sans moi?? / Did I Miss a Party??

I think Maman and Papa had a party the other night. I woke up at Grand-papa and Grand-maman's house one morning (But that was ok because Grand-papa let me eat Cheerios in his bed with him while he took some time to wake up; Maman never lets me do that.), and Maman picked me up early in the morning but when we arrived home, there were balloons all over the place. I think it was Mémére's 60th surprise birthday party because people have been talking about it for a long time now... but they wouldn't have had the party without me??! Hm... I do tend to get shy around a lot of people......Well it doesn't matter now, I get new toys out of it: These balloons are awesome. They kept me busy all morning on Monday.
