Nouveau lit et calçons / New Bed & Underwear

I don't have any pictures... our camera is toast (maybe I'll get a nice one for my birthday????!) but LP has made the switch from a crib to a big boy bed! He seems to like it, but he looks so tiny in a bigger bed! He's only 21 months, but I still feel like he's growing up too fast. And this week, we also started potty training!!! It's going not so well as the transition to a new bed, but we're having slow success. As of today, he has been a week without a diaper during the day... he usually has a daily accident but just this evening he impressed me quite a bit. We went out to see a kids concert "Splash and Boots" which he loved, and asked me twice to go to the bathroom!! OK... Well the first time, the "asking" was grabbing himself and immediatly stopping his dancing (yup, pretty funny) and the second one, after he now knew were the bathroom was, was him running through the crowd and me running after him (wondering why he's bolting out of the room) trying to get to the washroom. TOO funny. I know, it's only mommy-funny stuff... but it was still pretty cute.

So that's the update for now... have a nice wknd!

Nouvelle structure à jouer / New Play Structure

We decided it would be a good idea to get a play structure for LP in the backyard since he loves going to the park so much. He is SO excited; The thing isn't even built yet and he knows what it is. here are a few pictures of him "helping" JM build it... he's pretty proud!

And after that... it was bath time!

Semaine avec papa / Week with Dad

Cela fait depuis samedi matin que Christiane est parti en voyage d'affaire à Halifax... donc les deux garçons deVink se retrouvent seuls... et ils s'amusent surement très bien. Mais Christiane s'ennuie beaucoup! De retour vendredi...

Louis-Pascal à fait dodo chez Grand-papa et Grand-maman samedi soir et Gigi nous a envoyé des photos de lui qui fait son petit grimpeur! Il grandit tellement vite... 27lbs maintenant, et on le trouve pas mal grand! Voici quelques photos... merci Gigi!

Grand garçon / Big Boy

Louis-Pascal est un grand garçon maintenant, il veut tout faire lui même. Le plus comique dernièrement: il veut se bercer lui même et lire sa propre histoire avant de se coucher! Le voici dans sa chambre... on dirait qu'il va tomber endormit dans sa chaise, et il veut ABSOLUMENT le faire lui-même. Il nous fait rire à tout les jours!! Pouvez-vous croire qu'il a maintenant 20 mois??

LP is a big boy now and wants to do everything on his own. Even rocking himself and reading a book before nap time. Here he is in his chair ready to fall asleep, but he MUST do it himself. He makes us laugh on a daily basis! Can you believe he's now 20 months old??
