9 ans / 9 years

Aujourd'hui marque notre 9e anniversaire comme couple... on célebre cette journée un peu plus que notre anniversaire de mariage, probablement parceque c'était plus excitant. ;)
Today marks our 9th anniversary together... we like celebrating that a bit more than our wedding anniversary since it was a bit more exciting. ;)

Mais c'est aussi vendredi le 13 aujourd'hui, et la dernière journée de travail pour Christiane... une expérience qui fut assez folle et intense en même temps. La job était...intéressante...et Christiane avait hâte de partir; la dernière journée était pas mal lourde et elle se sentait pas mal divisé émotionellement. Jean-Michel avait une semaine pas mal occupée et folle aussi, il est tellement occupé dernièrement avec toutes sortes de choses. Il va pêcher demain pour relaxer... avec son chien, des cigars, d'la bière, ça devrait être plaisant pour lui.
But it's also Friday the 13th today, and Chris' last day at work... which was a bit insane and intense all at once. This job has been, interesting, and the last day was a bit heavy. She felt pretty conflicted on a number of issues. JM has also had a crazy week, he's so busy lately with a lot of different things. So he's going fishing tomorrow to relax a bit... he'll have his dog, a few cigars and some beer, so he should be set!

Nous sommes sorti pour souper... des fruits de mers. Mais il fait aussi tellement chaud (+35 je crois!) qu'on a pas grand énergie pour faire autre chose. On joue aux légumes sur le divan. Tache aussi d'ailleurs.
But we went out for supper... seafood. But it's also so insanly hot right now (+35 I think!) that we don't have much energy to do anything else. We're vegging in front of the tv...Tache included.

Christiane commence a être un peu tannée d'avoir cette bédaine, surtout avec cette température. Bébé aime aussi avoir un pied dans ses côtes une bonne partie du temps, qui devient pas mal incomfortable. Mais elle a commencé à avoir des contractions, ou des pratiques de contractions, whatever. Son ventre vient dur-dur et ça fait presque mal, définitement incomfortable et difficile à bouger. Mercredi soir et jeudi toute la journée, elle les avait une après l'autre. On espère vrrrrrrrrrrrrrraiment que ça signifit que ça va arriver bien vite. On commence à être pas mal curieux à voir ce petit poupon et débuter la prochaine étape.
Chris is getting pretty tired of having a big belly, especially in this temperature. Baby is also enjoying having a foot permanently pushed against her rib cage, which is unfomfortable. But she did start having contractions, or practice contractions, whatever they are. Her belly gets really really hard et although she doesn't describe it as really painful, it's really uncomfortable and her movements get limited. Wednesday night and Thursday all day, she had them one after another. We're rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreally hoping it means this will happen any day now. We're getting really anxious to see this little thing and to move onto the next step.
