Jour 3 / Day 3

Well, day 3 at home is already boring. If only I had some friends and family to spend time with, it might not be so bad. I just want to spend time with someone and talk it seems. Thank goodness I still have this file from work to finish up to keep busy. I could go weed the garden... and maybe vacum. But that's so boring. Tache and I already had our little daily walk in the morning...

Anyhow, we had another Dr.'s appointment yesterday. Our own Dr. was on vacation so we had a different one and she was GREAT. We're not completely satisfied with the Dr. we have right now. I mean she's nice, means well and she's easy-going, but that's not what I look for in a Dr. I need information, suggestions, advice... I need to know how I'm doing - good, bad, average? We never get any information out of her. Like when she'll take my blood pressure and then not tell me how it is. I ask, she tells me, and I have no clue if that number is good or not, so I have to ask again. Or she'll measure me and not tell me what it is, or if I'm in line. If we do get more info, it's sort of a fluke when we ask a question and then we find out she could have given us the info weeks ago... like if the baby had dropped, she discovered that the appointment before and didn't tell us. Anyhow, you can see I'm getting a bit upset. And if we don't remember to ask for past test results, she won't remember either. Anyways. This Dr. yesterday was great, gave us tones of info and made us really comfortable all at once. She offered advice, told us we did the right thing on a past little event we had, and just made us feel secure that we were on the right track. I was only too happy to book again with her when our own Dr. was booked up for next week. Aside from that... still 1cm dialated and have been forever now, and only 50% effaced... sooooo much more to go it seems. urgh. This heat is getting the better of me lately too, I'm loosing my patience. Only +29 today though!
